Press Kit
I am currently seeking literary representation for Pentlockin — a psychological horror novel that blends myth, trauma, and narrative illusion to create an immersive, recontextualizing reading experience. Written for readers of Gone Girl, The Green Mile, and Shutter Island, Pentlockin explores the line between guilt and redemption through an original urban legend designed for both page and screen. I’m looking for an agent who shares my belief that horror can be both emotionally devastating and commercially ambitious — one who can champion the novel’s vision, navigate film and international rights, and build a long-term author partnership across The Gallows Man mythos.
The Gallows Man Mythos
The Gallows Man series is a character-driven horror project built around a central myth figure.
Each novel explores a different era, environment, and psychological tension:
Pentlockin – Institutional dread and the origins of authority.
The Silent Bamboo – Rural atmosphere and formative inevitability.
Contagion – The evolution of legend in the digital age.
While connected by a shared figure, each book is written to function independently and can be developed as a standalone project.
The mythos allows for expansion, reinterpretation, and tonal variation depending on editorial direction and market positioning.
